I don’t blame the look; it’s January who fails to breathe any life into it.

Honestly it’s hard for me to imagine Carey Mulligan with this dress. I think that a shorter version would have been better. The dress itself is interesting but I agree with you about the fact that it’s lifeless on her, maybe a different make up, or maybe just a red lipstick would have been a bit better. I love that Jennifer incorporates some of the ‘mall tour’ vibe by wearing lace wedding dresses pants from H&M, but her cheerleader-esque ponytail is a bit too literal for me.

She is a movie star, after all.

Gearing up for the highly anticipated film, which will be hitting theatres later in the month, the cast of ‘The Hunger Games’ has embarked on a mall tour around the US, most recently stopping by the Broward Mall in Plantation, Florida, on Thursday.

This is one of the most beautiful lace wedding dress looks I have ever seen her in. And she looks natural and radiant.

The singer looked sensational wearing a Ralph & Russo Couture gown which nips her in at the waist.

Her black crystal-embellished gown with a lace neckline was teamed with an amazing pair of burnt-orange sea-glass cabochon earrings.

The one thing that brings this look down is her visible bra.

Once again, this could’ve been a great lace wedding dresses look had it just been stripped down and presented in a more basic manner.

She looks stunning from top to toe. It has been long since I saw her lace wedding dress so gorgeous on the red carpet.

Meryl Streep showed off a sexier, more daring side on the red carpet at the 2012 BAFTA Awards in London this evening.

Perhaps as an ode to the British award ceremony and character she played in ‘The Iron Lady’, Meryl chose to wear a look by legendary British designer, Vivienne Westwood.

Meryl teamed her signature Westwood strapless black lace wedding dresses gown with a lightly embellished corset belt and a bolero with the same sparkling details.

This is a considerably revealing ensemble for the ‘Best Actress’ nominee, who we tend to see covered up and looking drab on the red carpet.

Despite her windswept hair, which is terribly aging, unfortunately, I do love this look for Meryl.

It’s her best look so far as it actually looks like she made a real effort on this occasion.

Gold hooped earrings and a bejewelled clutch completed her look.
